I am posting something very rare, something very rare indeed! What you ask? A layout focused on photos of me! These were taken in 2010 after a new haircut and color while on vacation in Melbourne, Florida. I was very pleased with the work she did, and the color and highlights she chose, so, I decided to take a few photos! ______
I used a technique to age these photos a little, that I learned from one of the design team members at Inspired To Scrap. Von challenged us to change the appearance of a photo with inks, so I chose these poorly taken/exposed pics to distress and ink! For supplies, I used my industrial sanding block from the hardware store, a quarter of a craft sponge from Close To My Heart, and Tom Holtz Ranger Distressing Inks!
These are the original photos, already cropped.
Edge distressed with sanding block.
Ink layer #1, Old PaperInk layer #2, Tea Dye
Ink layer #3, Vintage Photo
I hope you like the end result!
I love your layout and you photo treatment!! TFS!! Take Care!!
