A Family Vacation: A Layout for Frosted Designs

I created this layout specifically for the "All in The Family," challenge at Frosted Designs!

I enjoyed this challenge, and decided to write my own quote about family.  I truly feel my family is a gift from God.  In this layout, I featured photos from a family vacation with my husband, son and mom!

MAP - A Layout for Kreative Koncepts

I'm so excited to announce that I found a super inspiration blog, called Kreative Koncepts!

I decided to jump right in and do a layout for their current challenge:

Everyone knows that I love a sketch with 2 or more photos, so I didn't need to make any adjustments to this one!  Here is my sweet boy, featured in a little baseball outfit!

Scrap Our Stash Challenge #16

A stash challenge from Scrap Our Stash is exactly what I needed!
This is my kind of challenge - to USE WHAT I ALREADY HAVE - because I have too much stuff! Using as much from my stash is one of my goals in scrapbooking during 2014!

Here are the details of the challenge:
For this challenge we are going to shop our personal stash, we will not be taking a trip to our local scrapbooking stores.

Here's the rules:
From the shopping list below, shop for (5 or more) different items in your stash.
Create a layout and include those (5) items on your page.

Sketchabilities # 117

I seized this opportunity to use a bunch of products from my stash to create a layout based on the Sketchabilities #117 sketch

And here is the page I created:

I rarely scrap 1 photo on a page these days, as I am so far behind in my son's photos, but this sketch really caught my eye!

Let's Get Sketchy June Week 3

June is my "I love sketches!" month!
My goal for 2014 is to scrap 2 or more photos on every page, so I added 2 photos to this great sketch from Let's Get Sketchy!

Stuck?! Sketches: June 15th

I'm a sketch girl!  They really help me get that jumpstart on a layout, especially if features more than 1 photo!  I love the Stuck?!Sketches blog for their inspiration several times a month! Here is the June 15th sketch I worked from:

And here's my layout featuring my favorite subject, my son Ezra!

I am really behind in scrapping all of the photos I have taken since he was born, so I added a 3rd photo to this sketch!  Thanks for the great sketch, Stuck?! Sketches!

A Layout for Stuck! Sketches, January 15 Sketch

Don't Feed The Animals is the layout I created for the January 15th sketch from Stuck! Sketches.

Here is their original sketch:

http://stucksketches.blogspot.ca/2014/01/janaury-15th-sketch.html

Typically, I prefer to work with several photos on a layout, as I am 3 years behind in chronologically scrapping my son's life, but when I finished up the stack of photos from our zoo trip, this one was left!  I love my son's tiny finger pointing at the animals, and the profiles of the ones I love! But I was pleased to create this layout with paper and zoo theme embellishments that are SEVERAL years old!  I also pulled out my overabundance of buttons, and used several of those!
