But, I remembered that he had been given a lollipop by his buddy, Gracie, while we were at the zoo! Well, you can tell I love bright colors, and lots of patterned paper! Frosted Designs Fabulous Friday Challenge 10-14-11 Fancy Trim

The Fabulous Friday challenge this week is to use "fancy trim" on your project! As a professed scrapbooker, and a mother of 3 boys, I seldom have an opportunity to use a feminine fancy trim! So, I was extremely excited to find this faux leather fringe at the Buy The Yards Ribbons booth at the CKC-Charlotte convention vendor fiar! I snapped up all she had in her booth, knowing I would be workin on all of our cowboy/indian photos from Tweetise Railroad!

I used 2 strips of this trim, and adhered it to my layout with Zips Clear Adhesive Lines Ultra Thin. I think it turned out great! I hope you like it, and will give some of those masculine trims a try when you come across them!

You & Me Friend

I created this layout based on a pagemaps sketch, however I missed the deadline to enter it in a contest. I'm very pleased with how it turned out, and I was able to use 4 of my too many photos of my son's first trip to our local theme park! LOL! So, here it is! I also loved entering the Bird is The Word challenge for "You & Me," because it fit what I was already working on! My recipe for this layout: 1. white cardstock, CTMH 2. bracket die-cut, Best Creations, Inc. 3. multicolor polka dot paper and yello embossed paper, Best Creations, Inc 4. large green tonal polkadot paper, My Mind's Eye 5. stars punched with Martha Stewart All Over the Page punch 6. hearts punched with Marvi Uchida punch 7. small bracket punched with Fiskars punch 8. jornaling with CTMH Sunflower ink marker 9. brads, CTMH 10. sentiment/title stamped with font stamps from CTMH and stamp pad in Garden Green I am entering this layout into these challenges: Bird is The Word You & Me Challenge Make It Monday #57 CropStop Challenge #39 Stamp Sentiment & Plus to Use "Friend" I hope you like my layout, and are able to read my terrible (LOL!) handwriting!
