I love Spring, and one of the best parts about this season is celebrating Easter!

Contest Guidelines:

• Create an Easter themed card or 1 or 2-page scrapbook layout
• Photograph or scan your entry
• E-mail it to: mrsme6th@bellsouth.net with Easter Contest as the subject
• All Entries are due: May 20th by midnight
• No limit on # of entries
• You may enter in BOTH categories

Entries will be judged on these criteria:

• Clear Easter theme
• 3-D element anywhere on the entry
• Unique phrase, title or greeting
• Use of stamping, embossing, stitching, chalks, or inking

The Winner will receive by mail a box of assorted Papers, embellsihments, ribbon, paper trimmer and adhesives valued at $50+ !

My First Cricut Project: Plantin Schoolbook letters

I must confess, I have been scrapbooking for about 8 years, but this is the FIRST time I h ave had my hands on a Cricut! I know it is hard to believe! I have been a fan of die-cut cardstock letters, stamped titles and joutnaling, computer-produced titles, and frankly, stickers. I have wanted a Cricut Personal cutting machine for 2 Christmas mornings, and this year, 2010, I got one! I guess I was just waiting until I knew a little more about them, and have been thrilled with my Cricut Expression being able to accomodate 12 x 12 paper, which I have in abundance! LOL! I would love your thoughts on the Cricuts: any problems, tips on making the blade last, how long a mat will remain sticky, how you have used your scrap paper pieces smaller than 6 x 6, etc.......
